    We are looking for a Senior Director, Development and Production to support the wide range of growing needs for Animation & Live Action development and production across Radical Sheep. Duties and Responsibilities

    • Implement the creative strategy as defined by VP Radical Sheep
    • Manage and oversee development team to achieve common goals
    • Act as Development Executive across our growing development slate of scripted Animation and Live Action series from Preschool to Teen
    • Act as Production Executive/Supervising Producer on both live action and animated series in pre-production and production

Responsibilities

    • Receive incoming assets from producers and ensure all required assets are delivered as per licence agreements
    • Run basic quality control tests to ensure assets conform to agreed delivery specifications
    • Transfer or copy media files between local and network storage
    • Rename files to ensure conformity of library assets
    • Back up files to LTO library
    • Consolidate analogue media assets from multiple business units into a single library
    • Create a catalogue of analogue media assets
    • Package and ship physical media assets for long-term storage at off-site facilities
    • Arrange for video tapes to be digitized at off-site facilities in accordance with Boat Rocker Rights requirements
    Qualifications

    • Maintain an evolving compensation strategy that motivates performance and is fully aligned with BRM’s short and long term strategic plan and values.

    • Work with HR, Finance, Legal and the leadership team to design, consolidate, model and test the effectiveness of all incentive, bonus and commission plans.

    Benefits Programs
    • Lead the design, strategy, implementation, vendor management, cost containment analysis and administration of all Canadian, US and international benefit programs. Benefits includes insurance-based programs (e.g. health coverage), wellness initiatives, savings programs and other employee value add programs (e.g. vacation, summer hours).
    Data Analytics
    • Complete extensive data analytics to ensure BRM is able to make data-driven decisions, including tracking of employee activity, cost-benefits analysis, and cost projection models.
    • Provide advanced data analytic and excel support when requested, even when outside of total compensation.
    • Report your findings in communication and presented in a manner as to ensure the ‘non-data’ audience fully understands the analysis and outcomes.
    Performance Management
    • In collaboration with the Senior Manager of the HR Business Partner team, co-lead the performance management program’s deepening and expansion across the organization.
    • Ensure the performance management program is effectively linked to BRM’s pay and recognition programs.
    • Advise, educate and collaborate within HR and across all business units.
    HR Information System
    • Analyze compensation design requirements to ensure successful implementation into current or new HRIS systems as required. Act as the gate-keeper for all HR system changes to ensure consistency in approach and proper control processes are implemented.
    • Oversee the vendor relationship and take a lead role in the introduction of future modules (e.g. compensation)
    Qualifications
